About

The operating system the watch trade never had.

WristBook is software for luxury watch dealers. It keeps inventory, buyers, deals and the books in one place, so a dealer can log a watch from a photo, know who is waiting for it, and see what each deal actually made after every fee.

Who builds it

Andres Tagliaferro, founder of WristBook

Andres Tagliaferro founded WristBook. He isn’t a watch dealer, and he doesn’t pretend to be one. He came from Centerbase, the operating system for law firms, and watched what happens when an industry stuck on spreadsheets and generic tools finally gets software built for how it actually works.

The watch trade had the same gap, only worse: stock in a spreadsheet, buyers in a group chat, profit in someone’s head, and a scramble every tax season. WristBook is built with the dealers who use it. They bring the trade knowledge; we build the tool and keep shipping.

Andres also hosts The Second Hand, a podcast where dealers tell how they built their businesses, and publishes the Trade Up guides on this site.

How we write about the trade

When a guide covers a legal, tax or fee rule, it links the primary source (the IRS, state agencies, carriers and marketplaces’ own fee pages) and says plainly when a rule varies by state or when a number is an estimate. Our comparison pages are written by WristBook, so they’re not neutral, but every claim about another product comes from that product’s public site. If something is wrong or out of date, email support@wristbook.io and we’ll fix it.
