One watch, one week in Hong Kong
Follow a Daytona from the door to year end.
Bought on Monday, sold for dollars in cash on Wednesday, shipped on Friday. Here’s what WristBook does at every step. Tap and drag the screens: they work.
- Monday
A seller walks in.
They WhatsApp you photos of a Daytona. You check what you've sold one for, send a quote in Cantonese, and when they walk in, snap their HKID; WristBook reads the number. You pay HKD 128,000 by FPS, over the HK$120,000 line, so the purchase is logged for Customs. Pay in cash and it becomes a Category B deal, with their ID checked and kept.

Why it fits
Most dealer software was built for America.
Dollars, state sales tax and US paperwork, with your country added as an afterthought. WristBook was set up for how Hong Kong actually trades.
Made for Hong Kong
The small things software built for America gets wrong.
The app in 繁體中文
Each person on your team picks English or Traditional Chinese for themselves. Intake, buying from a seller, deals, buyers and compliance all run in Chinese; Settings and the books are still in English for now.
Traditional Chinese invoices
Chinese labels beside the English on every invoice and invoice email, with your BR number. One switch in Settings.
Hong Kong ID & passport
Snap the card and WristBook reads the number. Kept for the 5 years cash deals need; only owners and admins see the photo.
FPS, PayMe, Alipay, WeChat Pay
Every local rail is a payment method, so each deal shows how it was paid, and the cash lines feed the HK$120,000 check.
Ask Case
Your AI assistant answers from your own books: cash deals to check, what sold, who's waiting on a reference.
SF Express, DHL, Brink's
Add the tracking number and it goes to your buyer on WhatsApp, or copy it into WeChat.
WeChat beside WhatsApp
Mainland buyers live on WeChat. Keep their WeChat ID on file and copy any invoice or offer straight into the chat.
Paid in USDT
Record the coin and amount; the HKD value is booked beside it, even on split payments.
Profits tax, estimated
8.25% on the first HKD 2,000,000 of profit and 16.5% above, from your own numbers, so year-end is never a surprise.
April to March
Set your year to start in April to match the Hong Kong year of assessment, or any month your year starts. The year-end pack follows it.

Questions
WristBook in Hong Kong, answered.
Does WristBook work for watch dealers in Hong Kong?
+
Yes. Set your country to Hong Kong and WristBook runs in HKD, leaves VAT off entirely, flags deals under the HK$120,000 rules for dealers in precious metals and stones, takes FPS, PayMe, Alipay and WeChat Pay, puts Traditional Chinese beside the English on invoices, and lets anyone on your team run the daily screens in Chinese. It's the same app dealers use worldwide, set up for how Hong Kong trades.
Do I need to register with Customs as a dealer in precious metals and stones?
+
If you do any deal of HK$120,000 or more, buying or selling, yes. Card, FPS and transfer deals need Category A registration; any cash deal at that level needs Category B, plus customer checks (HKID or passport, sanctions and PEP screening) and records kept 5 years. WristBook flags every one and keeps the list. It's a helper, not legal advice: Customs and your compliance officer have the final word.
Do steel watches count under the HK$120,000 rule?
+
WristBook treats them as covered. The law catches any watch made up of, containing or having attached any precious metal or precious stone, with no minimum content, and Customs counts lab-grown sapphire as a precious stone. So every watch at HK$120,000 or more is flagged, steel included. Customs hasn't ruled on steel watches in writing; for a definitive answer on a specific reference, ask them.
Can I keep my books in HKD and sell in US dollars?
+
Yes. Record what the buyer paid (USD, CNY, EUR or USDT) and WristBook books the sale in Hong Kong dollars at the day's rate, checks a USD rate sits inside the 7.75–7.85 band, and asks you to confirm what actually reached your bank so the books use the exact figure.
Does WristBook handle profits tax?
+
It estimates it as the year goes, at the corporation rates: 8.25% on the first HKD 2,000,000 of profit and 16.5% above, on whichever financial year you set (April to March matches the year of assessment). Unincorporated businesses pay 7.5% and 15%, and offshore claims and adjustments are your accountant's call. They file it.
Is WristBook in Chinese?
+
The daily screens are. Anyone on your team can switch WristBook to Traditional Chinese for themselves, in Settings: logging a watch, buying from a seller, deals, buyers, the dashboard and the HK$120,000 checks all run in Chinese, while a colleague keeps English. Settings, the accounting pages and Case's answers are still in English, and we're translating the rest.
Are invoices available in Traditional Chinese?
+
Yes. Choose Traditional Chinese as the second language on invoices and every invoice, and the invoice email to your buyer, shows Chinese labels beside the English, with your BR number under your shop name.
Can I use WeChat with my buyers?
+
Yes. Keep a buyer's WeChat ID beside their WhatsApp number, and copy any invoice or offer straight into a WeChat chat. WhatsApp links open the chat directly.
Can I quote a watch someone sends me on WhatsApp?
+
Yes. Buy from a seller takes the watch and your price, shows what you've sold that reference for, and writes the quote for you in Cantonese or English, ready to send on WhatsApp or copy into WeChat. When they come in, one tap opens the intake form with the watch, your price as the cost, and the seller's ID section ready.
How much does WristBook cost in Hong Kong?
+
WristBook Dealer is USD 79 a month, about HKD 616, billed in US dollars. Everything inside the app runs in Hong Kong dollars, and on Dealer we move your existing book in for you.
Do I need a demo before signing up?
+
No. Start your account, send us your spreadsheet or an export from your current tool, and we move it in for you. Your one-to-one onboarding call then trains you and your team on your own inventory and buyers. If you'd still like a demo first, we're happy to do one.
Does WristBook list my watches on Chrono24?
+
Not yet. Chrono24 doesn't offer software makers a public listing API, and we won't claim a sync we don't have. Today WristBook links each watch to a Chrono24 search and keeps your own sales history; a listing feed is on our roadmap.
Is there an iPhone app?
+
The iPhone app is in review with Apple. Until it’s out, WristBook runs in Safari and you can add it to your home screen.
